The size of a Twitter profile is 400x400 image so if you don’t want most of it cut off then try and stick to that size. Everyone gets a circle and those sizes so, unfortunately, that’s something you’re not going to be able to change.

If you’re struggling to change the size then I’d recommend using Canva if you don’t have Photoshop. Select your custom dimensions of 400 by 400 and upload your profile photo.

Twitter photos can come up looking quite small so try and stay away from the full body shots if you can as that’ll look zoomed out and may not be the look you’re going for. You’ve got more room to include those in your header image which is 1500 x 500.
