How to Get Access to Twitter Media Studio

In today’s post, I’m going to share the steps I follow to get access to Media Studio on Twitter accounts I manage. Media Studio allows you to manage your media (videos, GIFs) as well as including tools to set up your live streams.

Try creating an ad account

If you can’t log in over at studio.twitter.com already then try making an ad account at ads.twitter.com. You’ll have to provide your billing details but you won’t have to spend with them.

Once done head back over to Media Studio where you should be able to get an account.

On the product page, Twitter says “If you don’t [have access], reach out to your Twitter partner manager.”

I activated media studio with a new account on 40 followers following this method and honestly, I don’t know if I even have a partner manage on that account.

Read if you’ve got under 1k followers

Despite having full access to Media Studio you won’t be able to access the Insights tab which gives you a cool graph showing when your followers are most engaged.

As Twitter is a volume platform you can use this graph to find out when your followers are most engaged to share your best content and engage back with them on a time that’s good for them helping you cut through the noise.

This method works as of July 2020 but if it doesn’t please leave a comment and I’ll help you troubleshoot.
